Lee - it's as well you meant 'Trev'. Believe me - the last thing you want to ask is how I am. As others well know!

Hi Terry, how are you? I am back but I'm not sure what I am doing can be classed as running... besides, I'm still going to be chasing your coattails. i swear, I will beat you in a race if it kills me. Are you running Lode Fen this year?

Hi Lee, long time no see. I think Dave Greenham has a few problems getting emails, but if you have a membership query you can send it to me if you like and I'll print it out and give it to him in person. Glad to hear you're getting your running shoes out again!

By the way, does anyone have Dave Greenham's email address as the one in the contacts section doesn't work?

Hi, thanks for the reply. To be honest I think I was being a bit stupid, of cpurse it will be with the weather we've been having. It's just the small road section hurts in my Inov8's. The times I have done it have never really been too bad, except the first time had quite a bit by the river.

it was quite amusing that the first year it was the muddy marvel we had a dry winter and they had to go round with buckets to try and get it wet. i attempted to do it last year too but took a wrong turn on the way there and missed the start... I have GPS now though. i can't wait, it will be my first race since Breckland 08.

Lee, it is usually quite muddy there, I would go with the XC shoes if you have them.

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has been over to Lode fen recently? I'm not sure which shoes to wear but think I'm just going to go XC. Also, does anyone who's racing want a lift over?

Hi, will be running from sport c tomorrow at 4:30ish for an easy 5m jaunt, if any one would like to join me.

Thanks, ladies - in your company I reached 5k more quickly than yesterday's 5k at Milton Park! With recovery stops I groped my way to 10. In the afternoon I walked (with numerous rest stops) a further 6. So that's it for the year, I think.

Hope all Newmarket Marathon training people enjoyed today's jaunt, and are well on there way to defrosting and drying out. Slight misdirection meant we all ended up doing a healthy 17.7 to 19 miles training run. Well done everyone, again this was truly another awful day, but some very good running by all. I hope Jane is recovery from her amazing tumble.

Hopefully all the Bungay runners have thawed out by now. It sure was a nasty day for running, but you all got out there and did great! Well done guys and girls.

John's arms were white, Bunny's cheeks were rosy

but my gloves and jacket left me quite cosy.
